NOT AS GOOD AS SCHINDLER’S FIST!

I finally got a copy of the special edition of ORGASMO that I had wanted for all these years. I had to buy it on-line from Amazon.com which is ironic because all the DVD retailers in Australia were complaining about their customers turning to the internet. The irony being that when I went to a certain DVD retailer (who shall remain nameless) & asked for the special edition, the girl just looked at her computer & said: ‘We don’t have that.’ There was no attempt to order it for me, or check with another store to see if they had a copy! No wonder people shop on line with that attitude!
Anyway back to the DVD. I loved ORGASMO when I first saw it as it combines 2 of my favorite things, comedy & porn! Not a fan of DVDA personally but seeing Joe Young’s fiancé in bondage was a bit of a turn on. I knew I had to buy the DVD someday & knew that it had to have special features such as commentary & the ‘making of’ documentary. It also must contain out takes & deleted scenes. I think there should be a law that makes these things mandatory in all DVDs.
When I was involved in a play (see ROMEO & JULIET REVAMPED – THE FIGHT SCENE!) I produced a whole DVD entirely of out-takes. In fact it’s fair to say that we never completed the actually movie, just the out-takes.
The commentary for ORGASMO was a bit anarchic, especially with everybody drinking & smoking bongs through out the film. Trey Parker did most of the talking, or most of the talking that made sense. The interview via satellite was interesting but the sound was awful. I suppose these days he would be interviewed via Skype or something like that.
And like most of the people in the audience for that satellite interview, I too am hoping for a sequel with Orgasmo, Choda Boy & Neutered Man. I was hoping his fiance might become a female side kick in a suitably skimpy outfit. Perhaps she could be ‘Mormon Girl’ or ‘Slut Girl’ or even ‘Naughty Spank Girl’. Something classy like that.
We can only hope that when the fleeting popularity of SOUTH PARK finally dissipates, which it inevitably must, then Trey & Matt will return to more important things such as ORGASMO 2. In fact if they hadn’t received the go ahead to make SOUTH PARK during the shooting of ORGASMO, they probably would have had no alternative but to make a sequel.
As Eric Cartman would say: ‘God damn it!’
